In May, join semiconductor community events in Warsaw!
SiNANO is proud to invite you to join the semiconductor community in a series of events to be held in Warsaw on 12-16 of May.
Around the 11th Joint EuroSOI Workshop and International Conference on Ultimate Integration on Silicon (EuroSOI-ULIS 2025) on 14-16 May, two other satellite events involving SiNANO’s partners will take place in Warsaw during this week: ICOS Workshop and FAMES Workshop.
These events have been jointly organised by SiNANO’s partners to bring together a broad scientific community around common topics and challenges related to semiconductors, sustainable chips industry, European resilience and sovereignty, and international cooperation.
You can freelyto attend any session of these satellite events during your time in Warsaw (registration free but mandatory).

12-13 May – ICOS Workshop on “Key Emerging Technologies for future Industrial Applications”
📍At Centre for Advanced Materials and Technology (CEZAMAT) – Warsaw (30 min from Warsaw City Centre)
ICOS is a three-year Coordination and Support Action (CSA) from the European Commission, part of Horizon Europe, with the aim to advise the European Commission on collaborative actions to be implemented with leading semiconductor countries, supported by an in-depth risk-benefit assessment. It is an ambitious project in the framework of the European strategy of semiconductors.
The ICOS Workshop will focus on strengthening international cooperation in the area of advanced computing and advanced functionalities, taking into account the heterogeneous integration and the sustainability of these technologies, in order to reinforce the resilience of the European semiconductor ecosystem and value chain.
The programme includes:
- ICOS sessions (12-13 May)
- ICOS Panel (13th – 16:30 to 17:45)
- Visit of CEZAMAT facilities (13th – 18:00 to 19:30)
- Joint Networking dinner (13th – 19:30)

The FAMES Pilot Line provides chipmakers, startups, fabless companies, and academics with a pathway to delivering Europe’s next-generation of high- performance, low-power chips. Meet the FAMES’s community during our Workshop in Warsaw.
