SiNANO is involved in the FAMES Pilot Line, a Chips JU project led by the CEA-Leti, supporting innovation in advanced semiconductor technologies by providing access to several sets of technologies through submissions or open calls.

The pilot line is driving semiconductor technologies in Europe by supporting the emergence of higher-performance, more energy-efficient, and more sustainable chip designs. Its objectives align with those of the EU Chips Act, namely, to bolster the EU semiconductor industry and support European technological sovereignty through cutting-edge innovations, facilitated access to R&D and training.

FAMES pilot line is structured over the projects partners, in particular with CEA-Leti, VTT, SALand Tyndall as hosting sites.

The available sets of technologies are:

FD-SOI
10nm and 7nm
Several types of embedded non-volatile memories
OxRAM, FeRAM, MRAM and FeFETs
Radiofrequency components
switches, filters, and capacitors
3D integration
heterogeneous and sequential
Small inductors for DC-DC converters
Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMIC)
