NEREID: “NanoElectronics Roadmap for Europe: Identification and Dissemination”

NEREID Structure:

The NEREID Project “NanoElectronics Roadmap for Europe: Identification and Dissemination” was a H2020 project (2015-2018) coordinated by Grenoble INP.

The SINANO Institute was the Scientific Coordinator.

NEREID’s  objective was to develop a roadmap for the European nanoelecronics industry, starting from the needs of applications and leveraging the strengths of the European eco-system. In addition, it has led to an early benchmark/identification of promising novel nanoelectronic technologies, and an identification of bottlenecks all along the innovation (value) chain.

Actions:

  • 3 General Workshops were successfully held in April 2016 in Grenoble, in April 2017 in Athens and in June 2018 in Sardegna.
  • A joint SINANO-NEREID & 2 other H2020 projects was organized on Sept.3, 2018 at ESSDERC-ESSCIRC 2018 to present the draft of the Final Roadmap. Presentations
  • A joint SINANO-NEREID Workshop was organised in Leuven on Sept.11, 2017 at ESSCIRC-ESSDERC 2017 in order to present the first draft of the NEREID Preliminary Roadmap.
